How to Make Butterbeer
If you’ve been to Universal Studios and experienced the delicious, sweet drink that is Butterbeer. Then we’re sure you probably crave it when you’re settling in to watch the Harry Potter movies. Fear not, as Butterbeer is surprisingly easy to make, follow this quick and easy recipe to have Butterbeer whenever you fancy. It’s not magic, trust us!

Total Time: 10 minutes
Serves: 8
Ingredients
2 litres cream soda (chilled)
¼ tsp caramel extract
¼ tsp butter extract
- For the cream topping:
1 cup (or 128 g) heavy whipping cream
½ cup (or 64 g) butterscotch topping
¼ cup (or 32 g) icing sugar
Method
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream until it forms soft, stiff peaks. This will be easier if you have an electric whisk but it can also be whipped by hand.
Add the butterscotch topping and icing sugar to the cream mixer. Fold it in in order to not over whip the cream.
Mix the caramel and butter extract together with the cream soda. Pour the mixture into a glass of your choice. We prefer a clear mug as it feels just like the real thing!
Top the mixture with a healthy serving of cream and enjoy alongside a Harry Potter movie!
